Street Poets Writers Block One Street, One Heartbeat, One Love.
|
| "For all those who have faced death and chosen life." |
| Welcome to the Street Poets Writers Block. This a community poetry forum where you can post
your own original poems and comment constructively on the work of others. We encourage you
to keep it real -- but keep any sexually explicit or specific gang references to
yourselves. Respect is a requirement. Think of the Street Poets Writers Block as a sacred
space within which we are invited to connect with each other and the spirits that inspire us
to create. It is a place to listen and be heard. To dig deep and dream big. To create the
kind of soulful conversation that leads to peace -- in our hearts and on the streets. Thank
you, in advance, for adding your voice to the mix. Our world wouldn't be the same without it.
One Street, One Heartbeat, One Love.

|
|
memories keep taking me back to a time never forgotten,
a time where we were never down or undertrodden,
modern times dont even compare,
we went out any time every day we had no cares!
getting bare drunk in the park of kings
doing mad substances and even madder thing!
we had a house that was our castle our H.Q
doing everything a kid should and shouldnt do
It was the school of hard knocks and stranger days
experimenting in new and fun ways
no need to talk about getting paid
and too young to understand how we were supposed to behave
no .longer the boy that this man became
but the thoughts stay with me the memories remain
so as im walking down my own memory lane
hoping one day one life we can do it all again _________________ Nocte vegas! Please leave comments! |
