Street Poets Inc. was the 2013 recipient of the Cultural Fluency Award from Mount St. Mary’s College “In Recognition of Outstanding Contributions to the Development of Cross-Cultural Understanding in the Los Angeles Community.”
Street Poets Inc. was the 2003 recipient of the John Anson Ford Human Relations Award from the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations “for being an exemplary program for youth from different backgrounds that instills inter-group understanding and awareness through artistic expression by exploring their own values, assets and obstacles in order to become agents of change in their communities.”

ERIC HENDERSON GOOD SEED FUND
Inspired by the memory of a big-hearted Street Poet leader who was killed in a random drive-by shooting on his 19th birthday back in 2005, this scholarship fund provides financial mini-grants to Street Poets alumni pursuing college, vocational training or new business start-ups.
